so the story begins like this....

i went through so much thinking of trading in my 01 TL for some other car cuz i was affraid of the transmission problem, and i finally decided that I WILL. so yesterday i was at a private small car dealer with a friend of mine to check out this used WRX STI w/ 30,XXX miles and decided i will buy it. On my way home to pick up my pink slip, my friend asked if he can take a shot on the TL before i let it go, so i let him. i was watching him driving around the lot w/ the sweet apexi' vroom (i rarely let ppl drive my car)....and then i realize....DAMN IT, i have a nice car! i can kinda feel the jealousness of anyone ownin that TL....and then i had him to drive my TL onto the freeway while im testing the WRX again....SHIET man...its a complete whole different feeling watchin ur own car on the freeway instead of driving it. it's like all of a suddne, u wanna b the one driving it. i was proud! and as my friend gun it, apexi vroom was sooo sweettt eventho i gun him down w/ the STI....tis sounds kinda gay, but i think i fell in love w/ the TL once again and decided to keep it, AGAIN!

but seriously, you will love your car a lot more once you c it run next to you, you will be worry, and you will b happy....the outcome is, you will hate ur friend more for gunning it so hard....opportunity cost, hahaha!

haha i thought the pole part was coming.

I crave a little more power some times and have thought of the next car.

then when shes parked and i walk to the tl in a parking lot it looks so damn good.

the best is when you watch people look at it from a distance.

I feel the same way. I dont realize how much I really like my car untill I let my wife drive it (rarely) and I find myself staring at it when she drives off. Another good test to see if you should keep your car, make an add for it - like for AutoTrader; if you would want to buy that car then you probably should keep it.

I'm glad to hear you kept your car...Those STi's are nice for a few days. I wouldn't recommend it as your primary car...

Nice for a toy though!

I have both a TL-S and a STI, and both are fun in their own ways.
