Thumbs up This is so important it should be a STICKY

:o

Ok heres the deal. I Sold my Hybrid accord. I am currently hunting for a 2002, or 2003 Aegean Blue Pearl TL-S(under 30K). Finding one with nav is tougher than I thought, so although everyone recommends getting nav now, one I saw out of state is going for 27995 with 30K miles (2003) and also has the factory body kit.

My local stealership has 1 left with ~1075 miles on yet they want 27,499 (no nav). Should I go for one with less miles and no nav and maybe try to either bargain the price down with them, or see if they will throw in a factory body kit/moonroof visor etc, or since Im sure I can find a non-nav TLS cheaper, look elsewhere?

I could really use some suggestions as I start a new job on the 27th and I'll need to get a nice reliable car soon. Also I cant find a site that shows used 03s so I can judge the value of them.

So mainly what I need suggestions for are:

1) Should I buy the barely USED local(non-nav), and atrtempt to negotiate price options?

2) Should I look for more mileage (under 30K if possible) on a non- nav just because they are obviously cheaper.

3) Keep searching for the Navi, its worth it.

Sup Acclude.

If I were you I would do option 1. For the same price and lower mileage is worth it. Sorry to say it but the oem nav aint all that IMO. Now if it had the voice activated navi like the TSX and the screen size that would be a different story. I would prefer an aftermarket (Alpine) unit. I doubt u drive out of town very much anyhow. Thats just my $.02

Good point. I really don't go out of town, and if I do, I have a very good sense of direction. the 2k price difference, I could get a dvd/cd/mp3 player. Its just that Id like to roll the nav into financing, but not really a necessity. I'm only 20 so I dont *need* a car close to 30K, but I saved a few thousand this summer, then the sale of my car will get my Down Payment into the 8-10K range. I think I may do that now that I think about it.

Thanks a lot for your opinion bro

why not look for one with more mileage, and a 7yr 100K warranty, that way price will be a bit less, I can not put as much down and still buy a nav unit of some sort.

Do you *have* to lose the 6 CD changer with an aftermarket dvd/nav/mp3 player?

Go all over the U.S., Find out how many dealers still have a 2003 TL-S w/ Nav in the blue color...

You will get it really cheap, so have it delivered to your house, or go there in a plane..

IT will be brand new and cheaper than a used one, cuz of the rebate incentives..

First of all, it shouldn't be a sticky =) and GPS makes only $500 difference for Used cars.

It depends on the manufacturer that you select. You can use the alpine MP3 changer with oem stereo. But once you have MP3 deck you will not need a changer.

I ran a check on your car its good to go its acura certified on the 11 oct and had only one owner and it was bought in 2001. no fraud what so ever, but you could just ask the dealer to run a check for you also.

Because this is very important to me. That's why, and I needed some input from owners since I'm looking to do this this week.
