haha I'm wondering why you didn't cover up the tire. Is that Duplicolor Gunmetal rim paint? I used that to paint my current rims. Make sure you do a few coats of clearcoat if you hadn't because it fades fast without it.

I actually just did a coat of that paint today before putting the wheels for sale. haha good paint choice though

little trick i learned while painting my wheels. put a good coat of tire gel on the tire and the paint wont stick. no need to tape off tires. paint and then wipe it all off. works like a charm

What are you going to do with the centercaps. You can paint over the A on them and use some paint thinner and a qtip or something and do the little detail stuff with a toothpick and then clearcoat everything

or u could use note cards and put them between the rim and tire, and for the center cap, i think if u use some of that white/yellow painters tape and tape the cap off and then trim it bc u could see threw the tape sorta

haha, thanks guys. work is not quite done yet. and like i said, picked up these rims with about 2/32 left of thread. they're practically gone. already planning to purchase some new rubbers for this guy, so i'm just going trigger happy on the spray bottles

The color is actually graphite from duplicolor. notice how on the bad side is a very bad paintjob. i'll be fixing that as soon as i get home. just came back from a family dinner so yeah. I'll keep you guys updated

its alright to have 2 threads. Yall are both doing different things to yalls wheels so it makes it easier if yall are seperate that way it causes a little less confusion for those who are wanting to do this

Oh ya! Totally called it.

For the center caps, if you just use a crayon you can draw over the A and then paint, peel it off. My friend did it when he painted his engine to keep the word Honda silver when he painted red
