we were coming back from the club (brother was driving). it was a red light and a red '95-96 prelude (SR or Si i think...not too sure) with a loud exhaust pulls up next to us and starts reving. he was rolling around so i think he was stick. we had 3 people in our car and the prelude had 2. my bro doesn't like flooring the car but he was annoyed cause the punk kid kept on reving. my bro nods at him and slides it into SS. on green we got an ok start and pulled on him the whole way. once we got to about 100km/h we were way ahead of the prelude and we shut it down because of fear of cops. the prelude did a fly by and didn't even look at us. it was one of the few times that our TL reached the redline. it was fun.

 

i raced a prelude the other night too. he was on my ass so i just floored it in 2nd and he tryed so hard to keep up i stopped at like 100 and he turned

 

hahaha...maybe that prelude only has 130hp...hhahahahha

it looks faster than it is...and i hate those cars that rev so loud but no beef...guys...if u see those $hitty cars around...just floor the gas...they are so annoying...a real powerful car doesn't need loud and big exhaust

hey, 130hp ... NICE KILL! but watch out for the 200 hp ludes. Those are quite fast and light. Anyone run with a 01 lude ???

what kind of times do 200hp preludes run?
i heard some people say the SH's were heavy.

 

My friend has a regular prelude, not an SH. He has 200hp and I barely beat him. Actually I think I beat him by 4 car lengths, but he has a real good launch and he beat me all the way 50 after that it was over I beat him. Just to rub it in I slowed down from 112mph and matched with him again and then floored it again... oh to make him even more mad, I rolled down the windowed and asked " Are you flooring it?!?" and my friend just gave me a and yelled "shut the fvck up!"....

 

Don't quote me on this, but for some reason I recall the lude has 195 HP, and not 200 HP!!!

 

I think the newer SH ludes have 200hp.

 

sorrie...i have to quote this...the ludes came out as 195HP dated back to 1997 model...190 for automatic.

but since 2000, they have pump 5HP more, that means it has 200HP and 195HP for automatic...and they got a new grill...

the automatic ones are slow...around 8.5 seconds...
the SH is a lot faster but no faster than 7.4 seconds...it's way too heavy than an Integra Type R even it has more torque...so it's slower than a Type R...jsut another car that we can smoke with...hahahahahhaha

 

There isn't much difference between SH and non-SH... besides the front differential. Agree that auto Preludes ain't a threat... HOWEVER, be careful of the old gen, Prelude SRV.... those are FAST!!! Yes, it's Faster than SH.....

Yap... well, not 4WS, but the same shape as the last 4WS ones.... SR-V has 190HP mated to 5-speed... 0-60 should be in mid-high 6's, and even low-mid 6's is driven by good drivers... 1/4 should came in about 15-flat +/- 0.3 sec.....

7.4 for a 5spd Newer Prelude no way, if we are going on mags times the best I have seen for it is 6.9 in C&D and for the 2k-2k1 tl is 6.7. Really comes down to the Driver. lets be fair and post the best times for the cars we are going against of posting the worst time sen for their car and the best for ours.
