Smoke from A/C

hey guys, every once in a while i will get what looks like smoke coming out of my vents when i am blasting the air conditioning. any idea what that may be from? the air always blows cold and works awesome. the only problem is that weird sloudy smoke that comes out.

I get the same thing sometimes. I am guessing the air being blown from the a/c is soo cold. Maybe something like frosty air. It use to scare my friends when they ride with me, they think I am gassing them. LOL!

Lightbulb It is not smoke.

It is condensation that is coming from your A/C's condenser coils. Condensation collects on the coils until the compressor kicks back on, and then blows it all off. The cycle repeats every time the compressor turns off.

nah, you dont need to worry about it, its gonna happen either way. the air get way colder than the humid air in the car or visa versa. theres nothing wrong...

Just make sure its not ur heater core. Mine went out 6 months ago and i had smoke coming in. If it smells sweet, its ur heater core. $1100 is what i paid to have it fixed. sucked
