Cool Small Teaser of 3.5 build

Well i was sick of staring at my motor on the engine stand waiting for me to make up my mind on some other parts (how im going to modify the intake manifold for larger throttle body/s and light weight flywheel).

Sooooooo............... i bolted some stock parts on to make it run and took it for a test drive. Starts to run lean (according to wideband o2) as it gets close to vtec and is in need of tune but the power down low is crazy. Ill probably pull it back out today and mount it back on the stand and wait till i get teh rest of my stuff done till it goes back in.

Ill post pics and stuff of parts and build when dun, for now

Oh and it sounds much better in person, this was a cold start up. Very deep sound (as you can hear in the in car). The acceleration in the vid is less than 1/2 throttle (till tuned and broken in)

The lightened and knife edged crank make a huge difference in response. Cant wait to add the light weight flywheel. This thing is going to be in sane for engine response.

His engine is a 3.5 and he did do an engine swap.

Car is sick, loved this car since I joined, especially because he tracks this thing too.

The lack of tune option bothers me now more than ever. What are you gonna do? Piggyback and hope for the best?

^ and Thanks.

Gabru Im running a J35 with (a parts list and details i will get to later) The parts i bolted on were a stock set of heads and intake and my stock clutch with 160k on it to get it to work.

Im working on a thought of trying to see if i can get a TB like this (from the corvette) to work on it. Twin 58mm tbs
