Just a shot in the dark... but do you have your low-beams (HID's) in the on position always...ie. when you turn of the car do you turn your HIDS's off or leam them on (to auto shutoff)

Just asking cause with the cold weather + the HID draw when you unlock the car (with the remote) or when opening the drivers door it might be taking too much juice from a cold battery !!!

This happened to me once when I left the lowbeams on. It had to crack twice to get it to start.

Just trying to help !

Thanks for the help. But i never really leave the HID's on. usually turn off myself. but I do sometimes do this at night when I know i'm gonna go out still. But lately, i haven't been trying at night. always day time. and the past two days LA has been in the upper 80s..like 87! So no cold weather here.

doop, well, normally, when i hear my friend's TL start, it is much faster then mines. Mine just tend to be a tad bit longer. just a tad. The only thing I got on the keychain is the Acura Keychain that came in the booklet, keyless remote, my AutoLock key.

daverman, yeah, i remember hearing that the TL does this alot. But it's just annoying!
For the record my TL doesn't start a fast (or strong) as I would like. Sometimes it kicks off and spudders a bit before its brings the idle up. Since others complain about the same thing I'm not worried.
