Sirius setup to be installed next thursday (Diagram Inside)

I could never figure a good place to install a Sirius headunit without it toally looking of place. So I waited a while for Alpine to release the Vehicle Hub which will allow me to control the Sirius through the factory Nav System.

Here's a diagram of the setup. The Hub and Sirius tuner will be mounted in the trunk.

1) Alpine VPA-B211A Vehicle HUB
2) Peripherals PNVI adapter w/ Acura Harness
3) Alpine SIR-ALP1 Sirius SAT Tuner

Sirius has way better hip hop stations, not that it has many, but they are better than XM, and so are the ROCK station. Sirius has more rock and more types of rock stations. My vote = Sirius

there is another link in the 2nd gen TL board with new pics, apparently you can hook your ipod into this unit as well with the same efects and not loose any functionalty of your stock navi and audio system. Pricey but maybe worth it. But for resale value, it may look bad that the electrical wiring has been toyed around with.

if you click on the accessories tab, there is a cable to connect this to the iPod. if this works. it will be perfect.

i've seen it work with an alpine head unit and nav screen. but it doesn't say if it will produce titles and search functions on the screen for the ipod...

if someone knows the answer, let me know.

1) Alpine VPA-B211A Vehicle HUB - about $300 from Alpine
2) Peripherals PNVI adapter w/ Acura Harness - ???
3) Alpine SIR-ALP1 Sirius SAT Tuner - about $100 from Alpine

The newer vehicle HUB unit is $500.

Anyone know where to get a Peripherals PNVI adapter w/ Acura Harness???

you can go to peripherals.com and find a reseller near you. Most custom audio shops sell them.
