Lightbulb Simple Shifter Mod like or dislike

Hey guys, I did a simple mod last night because I was bored. I added a shift boot. Cost of the boot was $5 from a wrecking yard, boot was from a MR2. What do you guys think.

My next mod is the foot well lights, I picked up a couple dome lights from the wrecking yard also, planning on settingit up so that you can turn the lights on/off/fade. Will ost those when I am done.

Pictures of the shifter.

I just took the plastic molding off and there are four prongs that clip on underneath to the center consul. I will take the shifter appart later and I will take step by step pics. There is nothing holding the boot under the shift knob, the boot is hilding itself up to the knob.

it would look good if it looked like it fit. It looks way too big.

Yes it does look big, but when I put it into the park position, it acutally stretches the boot, doesn't help to have the short shifter . I wanted to go a little bigger to prevent the stretch, but I need to find another boot to do so.

and people might think you're a ricer or a poser because SS doesn't make your car manual.
