simple question about my clock
yeah my clock lights out.. i dont think its a fuse because why would they make a fuse just for your clock? well i dont know how to fix this problem and its getting really annoying. does anyone have this similiar problem and fixed it themselves? thx
It's just the bulb behind it. We see them go out quite often at work. To be honest, most poeple get them replaced under warranty...but then my Acura dealership warranties just about everything. Don't get me started on that.
Anywho, if you are going to do it yourself, it's just a cheap bulb (few bucks), and you can either A) remove the plastic trim completely, which gives better access to the clock's bulb, or B), just pull out that side of the trim a little, take a short flathead, and twist the bulb to "unlock" it. Remove old bulb, install new bulb, and voila, clock will work again.

What bugs me about our clocks is how they stay on even after we take the key out of the ignition. I cant really recall another car doing that but im assuming thats because most cars the clocks are on the radios and they cut off when the radio cuts off.
