From the September issue on their long term test car updates for the MDX: "So far, we're really impressed, other than an errant airbag warning, which seems to light up when there's unbelted cargo (like a briefcase) sitting in the seat. We're investigating."

C'mon MT! I can't believe they don't know about the sensors in the seats that turn off the side airbag if someone is too small or in the deployment path. Oh well, just goes to show you how much technology is available on our feature packed $30k car that would be sold by other manufacturers for at leat $10k more!!

 

Someone should send them an e-mail. They should know better.

 

Now we know Motor Trend staffers don't RTFM.
