Hey,

Has anyone here ever tinted their side view mirrors blue? If so, were there any subsequent problems? I am just trying to figure out how to get those blue tinted side view mirrors that the 02 tl's and most newer cars have....any suggestions?

What year is your car? It might be easier than you think.

 

personally i don't like it. i have an '03, and i find that peoples headlights at night are really bright and distracting. it looks like everyone has hid's, which is cool for about a minute, but the lights are almost blinding.

if you like it, go for it, just a word of warning.

 

I disagree, the headlights are actually dimmer than the reflection from a regular mirror. Try to look at the cars from the mirror and then turn you head around to look at them directly and you will see what I mean. By the way, you can always swap them with stampsosu if you don't like them.

 

silverua5 - i'll try that tonight. i've actually started to get used to it, but when i first got the car about a month ago, it was definitely noticeable, going from a car that didn't have the blue tints. don't get me wrong, i'm not complaining about the car one bit, just trying to throw another opinion in there.
