Question Side Mirrors

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if any one can help me answer this question. I forgot who's picture of their car it was (on this site) but he modified his side mirror to the more aerodynamic/sporty look. To be more specific...the BMW M3 mirror. Price wise...I know the cost of it already. What I want to know is what brand of mirror would fit...if it fits well...all the more technical stuff. Any info would be much appreciate it....thank you in advance.

VDO,
Thank you very much for your reply. It was your car that I saw...by the way I must say it looks very nice. I know what you mean as far as the size of the mirrow...they are alot smaller. I got a M3 in the house...and going from that to SUV mirrors are so different. Anyways...I was wondering...besides the wiring...how does it fit? Thats really my main concern...I dont want it look tacky or anything you know. Please let me know. Thank you.

The fit is pretty decent, but not as snug as the OEM mirrors. Unless you're very picky and examine the mirrors up close in detail, you couldn't tell that they are aftermarket. Mounting wise, the three mounting bolts line up perfectly to the door. The only minor problem I ran into was due to the fact that the mirrors do not come with its own gaskets. We are supposed to use the OEM gasket, and as you can kinda see in the pics below, the gaskets are a litle larger than the mounting surface of the M3 mirrors and stick out more. The seal, however, is very good. Again, I consider this to be only a minor issue. I've seen a lot worse mirror fitments in my day.

Let me now if you have any further questions.
