Question side markers depreciates value?

A question that makes me wonder... Does side markers depreciates the values of our cars when trading in or reselling? Because I'm thinking of putting some on. If it doesn't depreciate, what type of side markers would you guys recommend?

Don't you think that side markers would be an excellent safety measure? I think our TLs can benefit from better turn signal visibility.
I doubt it would effect resale value if you make it a clean install and a good looking light.

I have sidemarkers on my TL. It has received a lot of compliments. I don't plan to sell my TL so I don't care about resale value.

Not me. And most factory side markers I've seen are slightly recessed into the body - if they stick out they don't look stock, but most people won't notice. Just my opinion.

Ok if you Really want sidemarkers, I'd put them right where the little piece of front molding is. There is a piece that is parallel to the doors. Find one that fits there and it would look ok.

I think as long as they are mounted nice and flat and the look clean they're cool. If the hole is drilled correctly I dont think they're make your car's street value less. Dealers look for everything to make it worth less money...
