should i get a new tranny?

my boy works at acura and he said he can hook me up with a new tranny. My 2000 TL has about 66K miles on it right now and i haven't had a problem with the tranny. My boy said even if it had more than 100K he could get me a new tranny. So should i get a new tranny now or wait or what? Or should i just get that recall added to my old tranny?

What do you guys think?

If it is not broken, why replace it. Maybe you might one of the few that can last forever with an original tranny.

Yeah, don't mess with it. You are covered by warranty correct? 100k miles. Why waste the money?

Seeing as how new transmissions and reburshied replacement transmissions fail, I would say hell no. Why replace it with something that could fail if the current unit is just fine?
