short-ram AEM intake installation question
Hi guys;
I just got a short-ram AEM intake, I am not sure how to install this on my 2000
TL-p, HAS ANYOEN HAS AN EXPEPIENCE??
I have heared that front bumper needs to be removed prior to installation, Is that right?? If so what for?? can I install the short ram without taking out my bumper??
Any suggestion???
please help me.. I need to do this today

on the short ram the front bumper doesnt need to be removed, but it helps to remove the resonator (more cool air can pass up to the filter

Yes you can take it off with out removing the front bumper but its much easier with it off. It only takes about 5 min (first timer) to remove the front bumper.
Other wise you have to remove part of the fender liner to get access

once you get that bumper off you option of mods go up to the sky ---lower grill mods, headlight mods, resonator removal....ect imagination...........dont be scared just go for it ---make sure you got full coverage insurance if you f***** sumting up

thanks for the quick replies!
I am a little scared of removing the bumper. I am affraid to brack something. How exacltly can I take the resonator off without taking the bumper off?? what if I do not take off the resonator?? Ant problems?? does that cause Insufficient air flow to the intake??? If so, how does the factory airbax work with that resonator?

Dont be afraid to take the bumper off. Its easier than installing a intake
