on the short ram the front bumper doesnt need to be removed, but it helps to remove the resonator (more cool air can pass up to the filter

Yes you can take it off with out removing the front bumper but its much easier with it off. It only takes about 5 min (first timer) to remove the front bumper.

Other wise you have to remove part of the fender liner to get access

Question one last question

thanks for the quick replies!
I am a little scared of removing the bumper. I am affraid to brack something. How exacltly can I take the resonator off without taking the bumper off?? what if I do not take off the resonator?? Ant problems?? does that cause Insufficient air flow to the intake??? If so, how does the factory airbax work with that resonator?
thanks and sorry to ask to much questions

I was concerned about taking the bumper off too. Just follow the instructions, don't get in a hurry, and you'll be fine.
