I know intakes give your rev a sweet sound, but i was wondering is the sound different between a short ram and a cai? What yer accord's intake will a 2000 tl?

 

from reading other post it seems the short ram is a bit louder.

i have the weapon-r short ram intake and it my buddies tell me that my car roars like a lion

 

sweet...when does the noise come up? at high rpms? Which short ram is a good brand? i was thinking about aem.

 

The short ram does indeed make your car ROAR! but it does not depend solely on the RPM's. The sound comes from how open your throttle is. You can hold 2nd gear at 5000 by slightly holding the gas for a while, but it does not make any noise. ]

Any car can make noise in 2nd, but what I really like is how you can cruise 80MPH in 5th gear at only 2000 , and then cut her WIDE OPEN and hear her roar!

yeah AEM is mod def good. thats what i have and all my friends say my car sounds beastly.

 

Does anyone have the Akimoto Ram II?
That's the one I had in my previsou cars... and it was good.
I'm not sure if they make'm for TL.
Anyone??

 

i dun think anyone has the RAM II ..... come to think of it, i haven't heard the name "akimoto" in a while.... are they still in business?
