I installed my intake. Nothing to special, decided to go with a short arm, since I hear only bad things about CAI here in Florida. However, I have two questions/problems with the intake.

One - Wanted to know if anyone noticed more of a hesitation when you press the gas, not to race but just to accelerate at a common speed?

Two - I put in the intake, and when I pulled out the stock intake, there was a valve that was attached to what I think is a radiator fluid line. But it was attached to a line that went into the front side of the intake, and it doesn't attach to the after market intake. So that hole on the intake arm is just open. The intake package came with a blue tube that I think should have taken the place of the radiator fluid line (if that’s what it really is, didn't come with instructions).

Please help!

 

there shouldnt be any open hole on ur intake.. never!

what year is your TL ?

You have a 99 TL? The coolant line runs thru the stock intake box. You'll have to reroute it so it bypass the stock box. You don't connect the coolant line into your Short Ram Intake. The SRI should have a connection for the vaccum hose (rear side_ and the breather hose (in the front). I live in West Palm.
