Shops who install stash spots for a TL - like for a gun etc...

Go to www.handgunlaw.us and check the info there. They've got some good stuff. BUT - I also highly recommend checking the official states statutes and codes as things change all the time during legislative sessions. If you have questions, find a lawyer who specializes in that and ask him/her. I am not a lawyer, but a pilot.
I just simply cannot believe a citizen of this nation would be so terrified of a traffic stop that one would exit the vehicle with his hands behind his head. That's just asinine. If I were the LEO that pulled you over and I saw your door swing open my hand would be on my gun faster than could imagine.

Well I'm pretty late to this one, sorry Henry! Just move out to Texas man! When I was living out there I just put it in my seat pocket or when I carried my mini gun I would just it in the upper arm rest.

Actually carrying a loaded gun that you're unwilling to use is worse than carrying an unloaded gun. An unloaded gun is unlikely to be used against you.

While we're racking up charges, what about the issue of adding a hidden compartment to your car? Isn't that against the law as well?

I think many states do, mainly against hiding drugs.
