shocks

I have Eibach Pro-Kits and stock shocks. How do I know when my shocks are done? I hear squeaking sounds from the back every time i go over a speed bump. Is it time for new shocks?

What happens if I keep driving on a bad shock? How much time do I have before getting new ones? Do I need to change them out immediately?

Thanks much.

koni shocks

I have Eibach prokits on my 02 tl-s. You know how prokits give u slightly bigger gap in the front compared to the rear? Would koni yellows drop the front an additional .5" to match the rear gap? And keep the rear at the same height?

The Konis have adjustable spring perches (1" of adjustment I think). You could probably fine tune your f/r ride heights using them.

1. Squeeking is not from the shocks, it's the bushings. Your installer should have put some polyurethane tape there. oh well, just an annoyance, I wouldn't worry.

2. Worn shocks will feel bouncy. ie. when you go over bumps your cheeks will jiggle a bit longer than normal.

check the struct mount too, if your car make this noise at low speed, this could be it.

See link below on how to tell when your shocks need to be replaced:
