Which shock sensor?
I want to add a shock sensor to my factory alarm. Which one should I go with?
Also, anyone in my vicinity (San Antonio, Austin, Houston, etc.) that can help me install it? I'm good with auto mechanics, but not so good at auto electrical. I did see the thread about the install a couple of days ago, and I'm about 50% confident I could do it. That's not enough, though. I'd rather have someone who is familiar with the electrical side of things help me out so I don't mess anything up.

get a dual stage sensor and wire both triggers together, it makes it more sensitive and it will go off on the first hit. As for brands, I'd just go with a brand name one.
I have the AudioVox and have no problems. DEI & Clifford are 2 others I know people have used.
It's not hard at all as long as you can get into the right wire harness, but if you're REALLY not confident, look for help.

DO NOT USE THE DEI one!! its not sensitve enough and it has problems!!! I tried it on a cl-s and had problems setting the alarm off. the dei one also onlly has 1 led so you never know if first or 2nd stage is gong off.
go to www.autotoys.com and order the dual stage one.
