shift knobs

I've been looking into shift knobs and found that there are a lot more "manual" shift knobs than "automatic" ones. I don't see why there would be a difference because the metal screw-on thing is of the same size and shape (i hope you guys know what i am talking about) with manual and automatic cars. also the reason why i ask is because there is usually a price different between MT or AT shift knobs (AT being more expensive) and in general, MT's have better designs too.

I personally like this one... its nicely priced and looks pretty neat; but im not sure if it will fit. http://www.7453217467431.com/product...=1093049390875

So basically my question is if I were to get a "manual" shift knob would it fit on a TL or other AT cars? thanks for your time.

it'll fit fine. we don't require any buttons on our shift knobs, so it'll fit without a problem.

I think mainly the dif is that manual knobs tend to be smaller, and more symetrical. I like how my AT stock shifter has a little more to grab.
