shift knob

hey i have a 99TLp does anybody know how to take the oem shift knob off i cant seem to find any screws or anything

or clamp tightly with your hand, lock your wrist and then swing your entire arm like a long wrench. but yeah, no screws.

haha oh i tried it but it wouldnt budge i thought if i twisted harder i would break it ><

how r you going to lube it? grab it with both hands and really twist counter clockwise. if you still cant put a rag on it and get a big pliers/ pipe wrench and use that. (though tools arent/ shouldnt be necessary with the shift knob) its just plastic threads on metal

fsttyms1 is right - that's what I had to do (rag+wrench).
