Post Shift knob

Does getting the burlwood shift knob clash with an ebony black interior with the black marbelized trim?

YES.

Hey maybe they'll figure out how to make a blackwood shiftknob.. that would be sweet!

Cool

Our minds think alike! I stopped by the dealer to see if they had a black bowling ball shift knob. NOPE!

Why not? Let's go Acura, get on the stick!

Greta minds, think alike.

How they overlooked this feature is beyond me. I wanted the wood trim just so that I can get the burlwood knob. Instead they created a steering wheel with it.

Let's go Acura, get a few of those unsold burlwood knobs out of inventory and send them to get finished in black lacquer and move on it! They will move a lot faster.

Actaully, the bowling ball shifter is available because I seen someone w/pics in the acura-cl forum got one. But, I don't know rather it's a aftermarket part or directly from Acura.

Maybe with all these new cars with black ebony trim, Acura should send back some of their burlwood knobs in stock and get them coloured black and lacquered. There is now clearly a demand for them in black.

MOMO is a company that supplies aftermarket parts. They have lots of nice shiftknobs, steering wheels, etc.

Go to www.autocarparts.com or http://www.autocarparts.com/search/r...hifter%20Knobs

Is there anyone out there with Parchment interior? If so, Have you noticed that the stock "type-s" shifter is ebony perf. leather?

... and if you do not like it, get the burlwood knob so that it matches the FAKE wood colour trim that comes with parchment.

I just bought a Momo Combat Carbon Fiber shift knob for my car. Feels great in my hand, and the Carbon Fiber will match the Black interior and Blackwood interior nicely.
