She was great and it was fun,

but in the end I had to run.

Yep, I sold the TL-S last Saturday and new owner came to pick her up on Monday. I started the thread about how I was falling out of love with my car and wanted something younger...

I was a little more attached than I thougth I was when I dropped her off. During my last drive I soaked up everything that I liked about the car. Sunroof open, heated seat on hi, jams turned down low, listening to the sweet smooth sound of the V6 as tach goes past 3,500. To this day I have yet to find a V6 that sounds better.

I'm gonna miss her. I had planned to lip-kit, wheels, etc. but it just never happened. She does have some subtle mods if you ever see her on the street... Fog Light II mod, Spoiler, 3A Tips, 15% Tint, and removed 3.2 badge so it just reads TL-S.

I can't say I regret it, but she meant more than what I thought. I felt like I was abondoning an innocent baby on the side of the street when I left her in the parking lot with the new owner.

I'm moving on to a new car but my TL-S will never be forgotten. For an aging car, there is just something special about them. I still like the Eclipse, but I also like the Subaru Legacy too. The Chrysler Crossfire still catches my eye when I see one too. Going to test drive this weekend.

Just wanted to thank the A-Zine community for helping me along the way. This board is really one of the best. You guys have given me so much information it's unreal. Some of the cars on here are really beautiful. Keep up the great work! I'll still hang around to see what you guys are up too.

Thanks alot!

altho i don't like audi or infiniti at all, the VR6 engine and the VQ engine beats any engines in the market in terms of sound

i can relate to how you feel though...but you'll get over it soon.

Don't get those cars. If you wanna upgrade, get a 3rd gen TL and you'll fall in love with it like you did with your TL-S.

Agreed. 3rd Gen TL. And if you can get 6spd, that'd be even sweeter!
