New member so im trying to reach the 5 post mark so i was thinking of any sort of problems ive been having with my 2000 TL. so heres one: When im cruising around and have to come to a stop sometimes my car shakes or vibrates when i hit the brakes. any reasons? any repairs needed? any feedback is appreciated.

at what speeds does this occur?

 

anywhere from 40-60mph.
but often times when im going fast.

 

Warped rotors

Either get new rotors or have them resurfaced, if the rotors haven't been resurfaced before. Would be a good idea to get new pads as well

i had the same problem and got new rotors/pads all around and no more shaking! look up brake motive on ebay, i got mine for 140 shipped for all four and they still work amazing!

 

Also get lower and upper ball joints checked out for play, as well as tie rod ends if the wheel shakes.
