Post Sh*t up about no fogs

Everybody whines and complains about not have sotck fogs. well check this out, everycar besides the 7 series has very very nasty fogs. I would feel so bad if my 100k cl500 had xenon headlamps, but crappy halogen fogs. it's like the bluewhite, then yellow orange look. even an M5 of all cars, not to mention all the lexuses, bmw, mecades, infiniti, RL, porsches, volvo, etc. Jags don't even have xenons until this year. Anyway, I would rather light it up big time with some quality installed piaas than have crappy halogens. The first car to have xenon both (tlon19s) is gonna be the stuff... so stop complaining and get some PIAAS

Actually, I heard from somewhere that manufacture's do this for 1.)cost factor and 2.)the normal halogen cuts into the fog a lot better than xenons.
I feel the two tone of colors looks great.

yes, but that does not necessarily mean its a trademark for acura. lexus has been very consistent with that, and their models as well.

Your opinion. But...
I think the complaints stem from having holes that were made for foglights that never made it to production. Had the car been made so it would not look like it were missing something, then your point would be stronger. Even worse, because of the internet, we can see how good the car does look with foglights that is was designed to have. That's what may be most upsetting.

yellow fogs cut fog better. but THEY ARE UGLY. u obviously have never seen the magic of quad xenon. anyway, don't u understand how much better quality piaas have over regular lights?

My co-worker's 1984 Mercedes 300SD has yellow fogs... so there! :P

Also, Lexus has gone back and forth on the yellow fog thing, so I wouldn't consider it a characteristic of Lexus more than I would a characteristic of Acura (or Daewoo, or Kia...)

I think factory looking lights with good performance is what most people are seeking.

I myself have PIAA's on my 92 Accord, they look great and appear factory because the factory cut outs are behind the bumper. They are ion crsytal and have been replaced under warranty twice. For some reason the ion crystal always fogs up over time. I wouldn't get the ion crystal anymore, but I would still buy a PIAA product.

Maybe Acura was looking for that sporty look of the 80s. I remember my Dad's '88 Conquest using the two holes for cooling the front brake rotors and the middle hole to cool the intercooler. Just a thought... Oh yeah, I agree that the HID/Halogen mix is ugly.

For the record AlexD, no car company has ever offered xenon fogs before. I wish. anyway, I would like to think of the fog holes as an opportunity rather than a lacking. they should have deducted $320, though...

Funny becuase I have PIAA 1200 Ion Crystal fogs and if I don't turn them on for a few days or if I wash my car, one of them fogs up. When I turn them on for like 5 minutes it dries up. I think they look really nice, not ugly like people say, especially with the purple outline around the yellow. Once one of them blow out I'm goin with HID fogs though...
