Set Screw for rotors

I have new front rotors put on and the guy didnt put the set screws back on the rotors. I figure its not going to effect anything, but is there a reason they show be there? performance, wear? any ideas or advice on what i should do?

yeah at the factory they hold the rotor in place with them and then bolt up the caliper, makes it easier and faster. Don't need them after that.
