Send in computer?
Could someone tell me something about sending in the computer to have it worked on? I think it suppose to take a couple of days to do or something. What is done? And what is involved in getting it to them?

I watched a show on cable that showed them doing the changes. Just make sure they save a map so you can go back if ya wanna.
Like anything in science, you get nothing for free. Your crisper shifts and improved engine output will come at a price, and I don't mean what you are going to pay in money. Likely, you will get worse fuel economy, rougher idling, rougher engine, maybe some sputtering, possibly rough shifts, and for sure Acura wil give you hell if they find out. Hey, Acura coulda programmed the thing any way they wanted. They picked a good mix of comfort and performance. You will end up with more of a hotrod feel, if that's what you want then go for it.
It'll take them a couple of days to do the deed. Pretty much you just yank it and airmail it to the guys and wait a few days. No biggie.
There's a company that sells the thing that does this for about $500, which would be really nice to have 'cause you could tweak to your heart's content, and make adjustments any time you wanted. It takes all of about 15 minutes. Wish I remembered the name...

I'd have to disagree. JET did mine and my fuel economy didn't change, smoother idle, mo sputtering or rough engine, rough shifts didn't happen, and besides the tranny has it's own control unit separate from the engine ECU...
It cost about $250 plus $40 overnight shipping...Basically yank it, overnight it, if they get it by noon, they'll remap it, overnight it the same day and you get it the next day so a little over 2 days... It's what you do last though cause if you change anything like a new exhaust, then you just screwed up the newly mapped computer. and threw $300 away...
