Self Start

Hey i was wondering could you make your car have the starter on the remote. So you can warm up the car before you get in it. My aunt has it on a chrysler and i love it. got any ideas?

Are you talking about being able to remote start the car using the OEM key fob and an aftermarket remote start unit?

Yes, it's been done. You would need to speak to an experienced installer. The one I remember reading about required you to hit the lock (or maybe the unlock) button several times to trigger the remote starter.

So I guess I'll say it again (for those that still haven't figured it out)....if you took 30 seconds to search, you'd find these threads. :shakehead

Next time, you should wait like 2 weeks to reply with the links. Just to get your point across.

Yeah sure I have it. Auto-start FTW. Had it installed with my aftermarket alarm, but I use a different keyfob now rather than the original one.

the TL warms the engine much better while moving forward-
Get in the car, buckle up, start car, turn on the seat heat and go!, get a few blocks where temp registers low, go ahead and turn on cabin heat
Its on Full rich fuel settings until actual temp from operating it gets up- so all the time you are putting on your jacket inside is really bad for your baby
The TL is not your dads car technology
Notice the car holds 1-2 longer-higher rpm 2500- before shift when dead cold, guess why
