Is it possible for the security light on top of the door to burn out. Also when is it supposed to come on, and how hard is it to replace?

Any bulb is prone to blow out..but have yet to hear of the security light bulb blowing. Its supposed to come on when you hit the 'lock' button on your remote twice. As for replacing it? ..it can't be too hard..take off door panel..replace bulb?

 

the security light is a red LED, it won't blow. If it doesn't light up that means something is loose

 

OK thanks, any ideas on what I can check for? The panel being loose maybe?

 

Ok well the light came on for a few days, now it's off, so I guess somethings loose. My next question is how do I take off the door paneling to check?
