I was wondering, does the infamous Acura transmission pertain only to the automatics or does it pertain to the manuals as well?
I'm really like the second generation Acuras but these transmission problems are really affecting my decision as to if i should buy one or not.

yep- there are several members here doing CL-S motors and 6 speed transmission swaps on the TL

If you get a gen2, buy an aftermarket warranty to cover the trans- otherwise its a great car
