Question seat problem

Does anyone have their driver's seat replaced due discomfort problems or any other issue? I am trying to get a replacement for my seat because it is very uncomfortable on my lower back. It has come that everytime I drive my car, my back hurts. I've took it to the dealership and they can't find anything wrong. I have called ACS and they saying I have to have a legimate reason for the seat to be replaced and the seat killing my back is not one of them. If anyone has experience with their seat, please reply. Thanks!

The lumbar support is less than desirable. Set it all the way out on the lever by the side of your seat. This will push the support out alittle.
I did this: I went out to buy a cherry pitts little pillow thingy. I bought a black micro suede fabric that matches my black seat and took it (1/2 yard) to a tailor/alteration shop. I asked that she sew a little triangular (think toberone chocolate) patch to stuff my cherry pitts pillow into it. It looks pretty cool. It is 4 inches triangular and 13 inches in length. It sits nicely. Fabric $5, Tailor $15, Cherry pitts pillow $10

I got my '99 TL used. The only problem I had that was seat-related was that it rocked (few mms, especially when accelerating). Maybe the previous owner was fat or something bec. I find it stranged that it didn't bother him. Anyway, I brought it to the attention of the dealer. The finding: rails were wobbly. Resolution:rails were replaced-no charge; under warranty.

steadydaddy,

Did your whole seat move? I have the same problem, but it seems that the base (bolted to the floor) is solid, just the seat wobbles a little - the portion that moves when adjusted. Was it the same for you? Because dealer has been trying to fix it, replaced "bushings" - problem is still there...

I needs to be bolted down. Slide the seat all the way to the front. You will find the bolts on the back. Bolt those. then slide you seat all the way back. you will find the front bolts. tighten those. Bingo. I believe it is a 10mm wrench that you need
