Seat doesnt go back far enough!

My seat seems to not go back far enough. Im only ~5'11" and i feel like the seat is to close. My leg is always tired because i have to bend it up so far and the brake pedel is closer then the gas. Does anyone else feel this way? Is there anyway to fix this? I am thinking about selling the car to get back some leg room.

Yo, i'm 6'2, drive a 99. I had that problem once, how bout you slant your seat back a little to angle yourself. IF that still don't work for you, then yeah, sell that car!! But there shouldn't be a difference in space throughout the years. So hope it works.

Yes you need to weld it, any welding shop can do it for you (bet even a muffler shop could) and shouldnt cost more than 20 bucks

yea there is less leg room in the rear, but when you have passengers slide it forward. If you tilt the front of the seat up some you will have more. You shouldnt have any issues at your height.

Also what works is if you use the height adjustment on the seat and sit higher. I'm 5'7" so I need to sit at the maximum height, and I found like that, it makes me have to move the seat way closer forward just so I can reach the pedals. In effect, a higher seat requires a taller person to reach the pedals because there's a longer distance from the seat to the pedals.

I'm 6' 5" and fit OK. Wish I had more headroom, but legroom is OK. If you've got long legs, you really need to put the seat all the way down, then tilt the front up. This will support your legs so you'll be much more comfortable.

The people in the backseat shouldn't be whining since you're driving them around!

Im still thinking about getting rid of my moonroof (taking out the glass and track and welding the hole shut) and getting the headliner redone. That should give me a inch to a inch and a half more room

Wow. The TL has more front driver legroom than any car i've ever sat in! I'm 6'3 as well! You're crazy, but hey, can't blame a guy for wanting to drive with locked knees

Since i found the up/down feature it has gotten better but still a little bit of a problem. I think its the way i have to move my leg when i hit the brakes.

the position that works best for me is when i lift the front part of the seat a lil and put the bottom all the way down.
