Seat belt not retracting

As the title said, my 2002 TL's seat belt is not retracting when you undo the latch. It's of course is out of warranty...the only way to get in is to push it back and it'll retract to the door side. Is there any fix for this? I hope the seat belt still work

Lightbulb

Maybe not lifetime- but there is an extended warranty on certain seatbelt parts because of problems

A call to Acura Customer care at 1-800-382-2238 x 5 from 6a to 5 p pacific
will tell you about coverage.
Also register your car with acura.com ownership experience link
requires VIN number to register at both and all Acura owners should have done this already!

same here.. both sides.. soo annoying... when i press the button.. i gotta manually. push it a lil so it retracts .. and the passengers are annoying cuz they never do that so i got a hanging passenger seatbelt usually dangling away near teh seat or doorside.. and sometimes.. it might even hang outside :| so the door might not close properly.. arghhh.

2002 here, and yep, happens to me too, but only a little on the driver side only (!!!!). I just give it a little nudge and its done.

YES the seatbelts are covered 100% under warranty regardless of age or mileage.

I'm sure - mine has been fixed twice and I have 107K on an 02 TL-S.

I also had a seat belt repaired for free on an 88 Legend 3-4 years ago.

Call your dealer.

I know on my 01 TL there is a 10 year 150k mile on the srs sensor
and other cars have seat retractor issues

EVERYONE SHOULD REGISTER at acura.com with your VIN,
and a list of things about YOUR car is shown to you!
It knows prior warranty repairs and OPEN issues
You can also store your radio code there for future need!
