Today on my way to McDonald's i almost got into an accident. It was crazy. I was in the right lane going to make a right turn at a red light, so i'm looking to my left to see if there are any other cars going by. I see this white car coming, but noticed that cars going the opposite way of the white car are making left turns. I figured ok i can go. So im halfway making the turn when i see the white car weave thru this train of cars making the left turn and his is going to ram my a$$. I was like holy sh!t. My best instinct was to floor it and so i did. Thankfully i had enough of a headstart and vtec kicked in in time to save my a$$. God that was scary!

Also, after eating i decided to practice my launching and was surprised. Well i slammed the brakes down all the way and rev the engine, but see that the rpms are only at 2500rpms so i decide to floor it to see if they could climb any higher, and apparently they can't. Is this common with you guys too?

 

i think it limits the RPM while you're stopped

 

That is exactly how you blow up an auto transmission. Don't do brake stands with automatics because the transmission oil will fail if it gets overheated.
