saying goodbye to the tl

i am going to get rid of my tl after 3 1/2 years of ownership. it was fun while it lasted but i want to get into a car that has some type of warantee again. right now i am leaning towards a 2000 integra type r . The TL has been a good car for me but there is some little stuff going wrong on it and it is just going to be too expensive for me to maintain without a warantee.

99 TL to a 2000 Type-R for warranty purposes? Man that is a really smart move.

2000. has 1-2 years left on warranty if that. Not financially smart in my opinion. Go buy a NEW car and get a extended warranty on it, not a used one.

just talked to the dealership and they think that it is the starter problem (was recently talked about on here as a recall). as far as buying a new car......if i had the extra money to throw in i would get a new car but right now i dont. if i were to get a 2000 type r i would have another 25k miles of warantee and a very fun car that i could auto-x with (that is something i want to get into). i want something a little more fun and the warantee is just an added benefit.

keep in mind that most type R are used and abused...

i am not sure what your budget really is, but type R in general hold thier value pretty well, so not a very good used car deal to me.

on the other hand, keep in mind that the Civic type R is coming. So, if you can wait just a bit... that's a very good autoX car.

200hp RSX type-S motor. LSD, in a civic...:wow:
