Acura of Portland is willing to do tranny work and they know the warranty was cancelled december of 2002. I call corporate office and they told me that acura has to do all safety recalls no matter if the car is salvaged or not. just want to put in my 2 cents.

 

yeh, thats right but they will give you only 12month warranty on your new Tranny...

 

So you mean for salvage title, them must honour the tranny recall/extended tranny warranty?

no just the recall part. they dont honor the tranny to 100k

 

Exactly. I've seen a couple TL's be turned away because of a salvaged title/void warranty.
