honestly, just take it back to jiffy lube and show it to them.. they have you on record as getting your oil changed there and if its within a short enough amount of time, they WILL compensate you for their mess up.. i used to work there (i was one of the few competent workers there) and if there was some sorta fuck up and it was obvious that our shop did it, we had to foot the entire bill to get their car repaired..

fuck man, there needs to be some kind of screening for places like that. go through an entire gearhead manual or something, quiz the shit out of them. or show them pictures of certain cars, and if they get a boner then they care enough about cars to work there
