Exclamation looks good, but it doesn't count

as an official mod unless it actually starts the car! and if it doesn't start the car, then it would be deemed rice on the circuit!

Oh no Steve it would definitely be a working starter button. Yeah I agree, really no point to just throw it in there and it not work.

Wonder if I'll have any problems with running remote start or with my alarm in general using this?

sorry bro, i should have known better to think that YOU would put a non-working starter button in! i know a guy who's got a starter in his bmw z8 and he has a clifford w/ all the goodies, and everything works through the ignition just as normal. you might need some type of solenoid, but it shouldn't be a problem. in fact give honda/dealer a call and ask them about the alarm, remote start skinny on the s2000. better yet call ron!

What is the cost of the starter button? or Did you get it from a wrecker or from ebay auction or something?

Help me out Here

Maybe I'm old, but what would be the point of having a start button...

1. Place key in ignition, turn key to start car

or

2. Place key in ignition, don't turn key but rather find and locate start button, push start button to start car

Or maybe I missed the point and it just looks cool as hell.

Michael

U know where I think it would be cool if the start button was in the location of the TYPE S on the shift knob. That would be hot...

you still need to insert the key, and turn the key to position II, Which is the place it normally sits after you start the car, cuz you need to rotate the key futher to trigger the ignition in the normal case.

But instead of twist the key, you press a bottom. So you shut down the car just like you would normally, twist the key to ignition off, and are you done...

But MAN... what are those pics? Keyless entry in Japan? I think that's what it is...:wow:

It's a SMARK CARD KEY SYSTEM that INSPIRE has in Japan.
