rusty brembos

i bought a set of brembo blanks for my fronts when the stocks warped. they've been on for four days and the outer edge is already rusty. anyone else have this experience? has anyone had any rotors without this problem?

I think that is somewhat normal for the edge. Does it go away after you drive the car?

My Brembos rusted everywhere where theres no contact with the pads; ie. circumferance and around the hub section. The blanks are not coated/painted like the OEM rotors. I don't care enough to do anything about it.

my rotors will rust in the time it takes me to wash the car, its normal for bare metal to rust! make it not bare metal or deal with it.

It's cast iron. So if it's not coated or treated with other non-corrosive materials like Zinc or Cadmium (as commonly used for rotors), then they'll rust. But don't worry about it. Your stock rotors did the same. And coated rotors eventually rust, too, anyway.
