RSR Black-i Coilovers 02 TL-S/Inspire JDM

I'm going to post this here since I haven't gotten any responses in the suspension section. I just got these coilovers for what I think is a great deal considering what they charge retail $1900. I just want to see if anyone has experience with them or if anyone even has a set. I'm going to call RSR USA for info since none is available. I was told they were off a JDM Inspire. Also I don't have any adjustment wrenches, can I use any coilover wrench?

Don't know about RSR personally but the spanner wrenches are usually all the same, shouldn't matter which brand you use.

How's the tophat bolt alignment with your TL? It's hard to tell from the angle of the photo. You should have 5 bolts for the fronts(including 2 for the sway bar) and 2 bolts for the rear< 180 degrees apart. .

RSR is popular suspension. Lot of Lexus guys and Infiniti guys use their products... You can use a flat head screwdriver and a hammer. also the best way to actually tighten down those collars.

They appear pretty plug and play to me as far as fitting the TL. Get those installed. They look badass. If they actually came off a TL, which they look like thye do, I would just start with where are are now. You'll know soon enough if the guy had it set it up for the track when you chip your teeth over bumps. You can make all the adjustments after you get them on. I'm really a strut guy, but I'd imagine you want to keep consistent spring height on each of your fronts and same for the rears. Not sure if you do that by number of threads from bottom or measurement. I'm jealous.

Cool, thanks so much! I can't wait to get them on. I was one click away from buying Teins unti I serached for honda inspire parts on ebay one day. As for the height, it's probably perfect knowing Japan but I still need wrenches. Amazon or RSR themselves?

You don't need the wrenches. soak down the threads to break down any caked on dusts and take a flat head screwdriver and a hammer.

Update, these things are slammed. I'll probably raise the car an inch or so.
