Rotora Slot Direction??
I installed my new Rotora's and have a question? Which way are the slots suppose to be going. I installed them from what they said on the box, but I am having doubts.
I installed them with the slots like" \ " I thought they where suppose to be "/ ". But I could be wrong.
I want to fix the problem if there is one fast before its too late. Anyone have pics would be great

I think they should spin from the inside out. So, if you were looking at a wheel on the right side of your car, the slot would look like this "\". Wheels on the left side would be opposite.

here's your car:
aaaaaaa -------
Rear |----/------\----| Front
aaaaa 0 aaaaaa 0
the slots from the view above should be like this : aaa /
but i have mine the other way and it works great. the pads will also last longer this way.. but you will have a bit less grip.
hope this helps clear things out!

I concur with @cUr@-TL and this is corroborated by Brembo (it was detailed in their FAQs but I can't find it on their site anymore).
According to Brembo, as the disc rotates, the pad should contact the outermost part of the slot first, that way, the proper cooling is effected.
Maybe some brake disc manufacturers do it differently but that how Brembo recommends their discs to be mounted.

I agree with the above the slots are suppose to be /.
I have the Rotora rotors and this is how the boxes were labeled.
