Rotor and pad

Hi gusy!
I just purchased front and rear Rotora and front Akemo brake pad for my 02 TL. Akemo does not make rear brake pad. Am I better off getting OEM rear brake pad with my rear Rotora.
Someone told it does not really matter for the rear brake pad.

Thanks

You could but why? Since you upgraded everything already.

Akebono do make rear pads for our TL.

check out http://www.akebonobrakes.com/afterma...ads/index.html.

Front Part no is ACT787
Rear is ACT536.

The only place that sell both of them is Rockauto.com. Never order from them yet so can't tell you about them. $48 front/$42 rear.

I got a '02 TL-S too but not going to upgrade the brake until the warranty expire. Let them eat their bad parts.

Good luck

you could to save money if you could find a cheaper pad (probably cant) the rears do such little braking that a standard pad would do fine. and in my experiance with auto xing and road course racing there arent too many pads that are actually better than the oem pads. green stuff being one of them axxis ultimates not being one
