Rookie question...

This is a nooby question I know but have never had this to deal with. Anyway how do I go about removing a tpms sensor/s from a rim? Got some 3rd gen TL wheels for my 03 TL but need to remove the sensors and the air valve on them before I get tires.
I tried using a socket wrench and a clamp which made the sensor fall off but the air valve won't come out. The whole thing spins. How do I remove it?
If it comes down to it I'll get the tire place to do it for me

You need a flat screwdriver and push the side of the valve in then push the whole assembly out.. Its really quite straight forward?
