Rl

I just had my car serviced this morning at the local dealer. I've been seeing some nice looking RL's on the road and the thought entered my mind to possibly trade for 1. So I picked out one and took a test drive. The car was a little more comfortable than the TL but overall I was not impressed with it. It was a new 02 model. I felt that the TL has Acura's most recent technology and ideas in it. What do ya'll think??

WTF is up with all the bashing on RL's? my mother has one and let me tell you, it is wayyy more comfortable than my TL. the leather is softer, the heated seats work better, the AC/heat gets warmer a lot quicker than the TL ect... there are tons of things that are better on the RL. I guess you guys dont like it because it's big and has the same features of the TL. if I had 12 extra g's to blow and I wasnt looking for a sporty car like the TL, im not sure i would get the RL but it is a nice ass car.

You're right!! It is a nice car. I believe everyone agrees with you on that. It has aged though. I was really thinking of trading but after that 10 mile I wasn't impressed enough to consider trading. Its major competors have a V-8. My neighbor has a 00 RL and she hates it. I agree with you on the comfort level. The seats are different and just wayyyy more comfortable than the TL. The seats did get very hot on this car that I had to cut mine off. The climate control worked just as well as the one in the TL. It didn't seem to have the scoot the TL has and actually this car seemed a little noisier than the TL. I felt no excitement while driving this car.

45k and nice= no sales, no respect, just ask the 1st generation Lexus GS 300. You have to be exceptional at this price range to gaterh respect.

Don't worry, the Jag S-type is having the same problem.

I rest my case
The car is very nice, but it defin cant compete w/ other luxury sedans in that price range.
I'd go w/ the GS or a 5-series instead.
They need to redesign that thing totally, and by that I dont mean adding a few nicer curves here and there and tossing on some chrome accents. That's their flagship car, they need to treat it as such.
