Sweet! What was the make/model of these? What tire size did you go with?

Nice, I like the polished lip.

Look good Mr. Hyde. The painted calipers and rotors definitely enhance the look of the wheels.

Very nice. In fact, one of the very few rim styles I actually like on the TL-S.

Question, though- why didn't you get slightly wider tires (say 245s)? The angle of the sidewall looks a little weird, like the rim is too wide for the tire. I see this a lot on the ricers here (not that yours is rice in any way)- is this a desired quality?

Absolutely gorgeous :wow:
How's the ride quality on 19's? And what kind of drop d you have on the car? I was considering 19's but the NYC roads are telling me different.

Thanx for the compliments guys, I love em. Turbo--yup that was me, Premium gas is dirt cheap at that station on the weekends. Hasnt topped $1.60 yet, so I fill up there every Sat/Sunday. You didnt have the Silver TL-S going west on Jericho did you??

T-HO any wider than 235 and you'd probably rub. I havent rubbed yet, but so far I havent driven with a completely loaded up car. Offset is 47.

Today I drove to and from Park Ave Acura in NJ, through the Bronx, Cross Bronx Exp (:wow: ). No Problems, and Im actually surprised about the ride. Before putting the rims on I was worried the ride would be too rough and I would have to get coilovers, but I am very very happy with the ride, and Im sticking with the Comptech's. Believe me thats a big compliment coming from me. Tracking is a *****, but the ride quality is fine otherwise, and undistinguishable to me from riding on 18's.

Closer what happened??????????:wow:

Awesome ride Sandeep.
Now all you need are some x-drilled rotors.

Mr Hyde, you have one amazing ride!! Up till this point, my all time favorite TL has been Tanner's old black TL with 19" C5s from several years back. I absolutely love a nice 5 star wheel and your DTS's are just as clean a rim and really compliment the sporty image of your car. That and I fell in love with ABP when I saw your car and Sly's in person last year. Very well done and I hope to see your car again in May at PAA.

Sorry guys still need the stockers for the winter, Salt is not friendly on the polished lip at all.

Drop is courtesy of Comptech.

Thats hine is courtesy of a Dawn wash, claying, wash, 3M Swirl Mark Remover x1, Klasse All in One x1, and Klasse Sealant Glaze x1. The trial on my trunk showed the Klasse was holding up better after a rainstrom and a wash. All put on with a buffer and taken off by hand, and needless to say took me a while. I'll post better pics when its actually sunny out maybe this weekend afte another wash and another coat of SG which should be much quicker since all the prep work is done.

Thanx again guys; Im blushing.
