Mmmmm This is a Hard One...
I would call it Dope!

For a Car Show it would look Rather Nice.
For a DD it would be Silly since it doesnt really work as Courtesy Lights so its Rice.

Drilling a Hole in my Door Panel for this? = ROYAL NO GO!

I dunno about this one. Not really feeling it. As skirmich said, for a car show it will probably be nice, but not for dd. The fact that it has the Acura logo makes it rice imo.

I'd rather install puddle lights, cleaner look with better functionality

Big deal, its on the bottom of the door panel that no one would see. If you choose not to use them any more put a plastic plug in place or leave them in unhooked

Really, find something else to worry about, I can't remember anyone ever laying down on the ground to look up at the bottom edge of any door on any vehicle I've ever had.

Being older, I'd usually find things like this to be kind of silly, but I think those are kind of cool, but I guess it could be seen as 'trying too hard'

I think they go on the very bottom pointed at the ground so you open your door and it projects the acura logo and name downwards.
