Reverse sound
Has anyone ever had this problem:
Everytime I put the car in reverse lately a continuous beeping sound goes off, the same sound I hear when I reverse the car and if Im close to another car or object a beeping sound goes off. However, now it goes off everytime I put it in reverse whether or not if im near a another car or object.

Ok, now that we that hashed out I have a couple of suggestions.
Is it raining of foggy out when you have this problem. If so it could be that moisture is on the lenses of the sensors, wipe them down and see if it helps. Also, see if you can tell if there is moisture on the inside of the sensors. Anything blocking the lenses will make the ultrasound transceiver think that there is something REALLY close, when in fact it just can't see beyond them. At least that's what i've learned with the system on my Explorer.
Cheers,
Iggy

I brought it to the dealer and it turns out, that noise is a sensor for the rear brakes. When the pads begin to get thin, the piece of metal rubs the rotor creating a weird noise. It's basically a sensor to tell you the rear brakes need replacing. Just bring the car in, and have them check the rear brakes.
That's all it should be.
