The company HID Vision is ready to take orders. They are asking $80 shipped. They say they need 50 people prepaid before they will start shipping out gauges. Money will be refunded if 50 people do not sign up and we decide to give up.

I've asked HID Vision to send me one gauge so I can review it and post pics so that we know what we are buying.

I have over 50 email addresses of people that emailed me saying they wanted the gauges.

What should we do? Start sending the money? 50 * $80 = $4,000 Thats a lot of money.

What was the verdict on installing them. Could you easily remove the old gauge face and put the new one on?

I'd be interested in seeing one. Maybe a nice photo of one installed on someone's car.

I agree, we need some sample and an evaluation of one of them before we can shell out 80 bones for one of them puppies.

I think I also have to see how it looks with the rest of the dash before i can make a decision on buying it.

how about us 99 ? Same order, different gauges?

 

I've still not got a straight answer on the 1999 TL gauges.

HID Vision has told me they are unable to send me a gauge to review before we start orders. I'm going to start another post and email everyone with payment information.
